What to expect…
Eclectic music
hand drums and hymns, progressive praise music and spirituals, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, Taize chants and folk songs.
Young Adults
we’re a multi-generation community that centers the leadership and experience of young adults.
Kiddos
children are welcome in worship! We don’t offer childcare, but our Family Worship Coordinator offers resources and activities to support caregivers and their kiddos’ participation.
Diverse sources of inspiration
readings, poetry, & sacred scriptures from Mary Oliver to Jesus to Rumi.
Prayer
we pray to a love beyond belief. Sometimes we pray to God or the Spirit of Love and sometimes we don’t know who we’re praying to, but we pray anyway. We don’t pray to change the world, we pray to change ourselves, so we can change the world.
Sharing
we light candles to honor each of our individual spirits and the gathered community. We share our joys and sorrows, our dreams and struggles, our brokenness and our beauty.
A Reflection
a short personal reflection from a community member on a topic that matters and making meaning of the ups and downs of our spiritual journeys.
Food for your belly, not just your soul
join us before worship for a light dinner of soup, bread, cheese, veggies, & snacks.
Safety and inclusion for in-person worship
Masking is required for everyone over five years old while indoors, except for worship leaders. You can remove your mask in the adjacent room for eating and drinking, but please don't bring food into the worship room. We require vaccinations for everyone who's eligible, using the honor system. Both locations have air filtration systems.
Both of our locations, including bathrooms, are wheelchair accessible by elevator.
In an effort to better welcome our fragrance sensitive community members, we ask that you not wear perfume, cologne, or other strong scents to Sanctuary worship.
